Agent Stake for Welfare Operations Responsibilities


Introduction

Church welfare operations (including employment centers, bishops' storehouses, canneries, Deseret Industries, production, processing, and humanitarian clothing projects) receive oversight from priesthood and Relief Society leaders. These operations may have either paid or volunteer managers. Area Presidencies assign an agent stake president to oversee each operation. The stake president forms an operating committee to include the chairman of the stake bishops' welfare council, the stake Relief Society president, and the operations manager.
