One man wanted a change in his employment. He had spent many years at the level of CFO/controller in an industry that was not conducive to being a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Although he was making an exceptional salary, he wanted a change. He brushed up his resume, studied new interviewing techniques, and was given a lead for a company looking for a controller.
After several interviews, a company hired the man with no change in his salary as a controller. He called to thank the employment center staff and told them how much help they were to him and how he would encourage anyone at any level to use the resources of the employment center. His last comment on the phone was, "You can be sure that when we have any job openings, you will be the first one we call!"
